Page & Pine Bookshop is teaming up with our friends at The Forum for our first ever Bookish Trivia Night! Join us for an evening of literary fun featuring questions spanning beloved books, authors, characters, and pop-culture favorites—all hosted in one of our favorite downtown spots.

The $10 per person entry fee helps reserve your spot, supports event hosting and prizes, and ensures a great experience for everyone. Teams will compete for fun giveaways and bragging rights, while enjoying food and drinks available for purchase from The Forum.

Whether you’re a casual reader or a full on bookworm, this is a laid back, community forward night made for book lovers.

A Quiet Chapter: Sound Bath Experience

Join us in the bookshop for a quiet chapter of rest and reflection, in partnership with Susanna of Attune Sound Therapy. This thoughtfully curated experience invites you to slow down, tune inward, and find stillness between the pages.

The evening will begin with a 15 minute guided grounding meditation and body scan to find stillness and set an intention, followed by a 60 minute immersive sound bath using Italian gongs, Nepali singing bowls, Koshi chimes, and ocean drumming to release tension and invite calm, harmony, and ease.

🎟 Tickets are $25 per person (link in instagram bio). Space will be limited.

  • Water bottle to stay hydrated

  • Yoga mat, bolster or pillow, and a blanket for comfort
    (We’ll have a few extras available, but extra padding is always encouraged for a cozy experience.)

Join us for our very first Gently Used Book Exchange Night—a relaxed, community centered evening of sharing stories old and new. Bring a few gently used books (kids and adult titles are welcome!) to swap with fellow readers, discover unexpected finds, and give beloved books a second life.

After browsing the exchange, stick around to shop the store—participants will receive a special discount on any new book purchase that evening as a thank you for being part of our first exchange.

Join us at Page & Pine for a special event with author Cassie and illustrator Bryson as they share their uplifting picture book about learning to dance through life with joy, creativity, and presence.

In this heart centered story, the universe gently guides a little boy to move through the world with laughter, curiosity, and trust — embracing nature, creativity, and the freedom to be fully himself. Through Cassie’s inspiring words and Bryson’s beautiful illustrations, readers of all ages are reminded to show the world who they are, create from the soul, and find joy in each moment.

The morning will begin with a live reading from 11:00–11:20am, where families can gather to hear the story brought to life. After the reading, Cassie and Bryson will remain at the shop for a pop up meet-and-greet and book signing until 1:00pm.

Stop by for the reading or drop in afterward to meet the creators, connect, and celebrate this meaningful and joy filled story together.

Page & Pine Bookshop is excited to welcome Jasmine Sears for a special author pop up featuring her picture book The Little Red Hen Learns How to Ask for Help.

During this drop in event, Jasmine will be at the shop to meet readers, chat about her work, and sign copies of her book. The Little Red Hen Learns How to Ask for Help offers a thoughtful, gentle take on a familiar tale and is especially well suited for children ages 3–6, as well as young readers who love animal stories.

Jasmine, who previously lived in the Kirkland area and now resides in Portland, is looking forward to reconnecting with local families and the community.

Court of Cocktails: A Bookish Mixology Experience

join us in the shop for a special hands-on cocktail class with Reyna Edmonds, author of the ACOTAR inspired cocktail book: Court of Cocktails (available in the shop!). In partnership with the Puyallup Main Street Association (PMSA), the first 200 adults and children to pick up a free stocking at PMSA (first come, first served) will receive a “holiday passport” to guide them on a fun tour of local businesses.

Participating businesses (including us!) will provide treats for visitors to enjoy, from treats to hot cocoa and more. Explore, shop, and discover all that Puyallup has to offer this holiday season, and make your visit extra sweet with goodies along the way!

Holiday Book Wrapping & Blind Date Fun — In Partnership with Poppy Wild Book Co.

Your ticket ($45, space is limited) includes instruction, all the fun fillers to round out your gifts—think bookmarks, pens, eye masks, tea, and more—and a festive bow plus writing supplies to personalize each “present” for the holiday season.

Guests should bring 3 books ready for wrapping or arrive 30 minutes early to select books from our shop before the event begins (all participants will get 10% off their book purchases).
