Page & Pine Bookshop is teaming up with our friends at The Forum for our first ever Bookish Trivia Night! Join us for an evening of literary fun featuring questions spanning beloved books, authors, characters, and pop-culture favorites—all hosted in one of our favorite downtown spots.

The $10 per person entry fee helps reserve your spot, supports event hosting and prizes, and ensures a great experience for everyone. Teams will compete for fun giveaways and bragging rights, while enjoying food and drinks available for purchase from The Forum.

Whether you’re a casual reader or a full on bookworm, this is a laid back, community forward night made for book lovers.

Join us in the bookshop for a quiet chapter of rest and reflection, in partnership with Susanna of Attune Sound Therapy. This thoughtfully curated experience invites you to slow down, tune inward, and find stillness between the pages.

The evening will begin with a 15 minute guided grounding meditation and body scan to find stillness and set an intention, followed by a 60 minute immersive sound bath using Italian gongs, Nepali singing bowls, Koshi chimes, and ocean drumming to release tension and invite calm, harmony, and ease.

• Yoga mat, bolster or pillow, and a blanket for comfort

Join us for our very first Gently Used Book Exchange Night—a relaxed, community centered evening of sharing stories old and new. Bring a few gently used books (kids and adult titles are welcome!) to swap with fellow readers, discover unexpected finds, and give beloved books a second life.

After browsing the exchange, stick around to shop the store—participants will receive a special discount on any new book purchase that evening as a thank you for being part of our first exchange.

Kids Origami Workshop at Page & Pine

Join us for a fun and creative origami session designed especially for kids! We’ll spend the time learning how to fold simple shapes and playful designs together, with all materials provided.

This hands on workshop is a great way to spark creativity, practice focus, and enjoy a little screen free fun in the shop.

An origami book will be available for purchase after the session for families who’d like to continue folding at home.

Calling all romantasy readers! On March 21 from 10–2, local author Chelsey Ann Tompkins will be in the shop for a pop up featuring book sales, meet & greet, and signings. Come discover a new favorite story filled with romance, fantasy, and heart.

Join us for a peaceful morning in the shop as we partner with Prana (one of our downtown puyallup favs!) for a special yoga pop up. We’ll begin the day with a gentle, grounding flow surrounded by shelves of stories — a quiet way to move, breathe, and ease into your sunday.

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just looking for a calm start to your day, this all levels class is a welcoming space to slow down and connect.

Make Your Mark: Bookmark Making

Join us at Page & Pine for a creative evening designing and crafting your own one-of-a-kind bookmarks. We’ll provide all the materials you need: from paper, dried flowers, and embellishments to tools and inspiration — so you can create something uniquely yours.

Whether you’re a lifelong book lover or simply looking for a cozy night out, this relaxed, hands on event is the perfect way to unwind and make something meaningful.

Page & Pine Bookshop is excited to welcome Jasmine Sears for a special author pop up featuring her picture book The Little Red Hen Learns How to Ask for Help.

During this drop in event, Jasmine will be at the shop to meet readers, chat about her work, and sign copies of her book. The Little Red Hen Learns How to Ask for Help offers a thoughtful, gentle take on a familiar tale and is especially well suited for children ages 3–6, as well as young readers who love animal stories.

Jasmine, who previously lived in the Kirkland area and now resides in Portland, is looking forward to reconnecting with local families and the community.

Books will be available for purchase throughout the event. Stop by anytime between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to say hello and support a wonderful local author.

We’re inviting bookish creators to spend the evening at the shop — no formal training, no agenda, just time to chat books, connect with other creatives, and create content surrounded by shelves of stories.

Come hang out, film, photograph, talk books, and enjoy the space after hours. We’ll keep it relaxed and community-focused — just good conversation and lots of books.

This is a creator focused event, and advance registration is required. We’ll review registrations to ensure the space is reserved for bookish creators.

Join us for a cozy movie night at Page & Pine as we screen the new adaptation of People We Meet on Vacation. We’ll have popcorn, wine, and small bites ready — all you need to bring is yourself (and maybe a friend).
