Get ready for a festive, hands on evening of bookish fun! Join us for a special event in partnership with Poppy Wild Book Co., where guests will learn creative book wrapping techniques and explore the joy of “blind date” book gifting.

Your ticket ($45, space is limited) includes instruction, all the fun fillers to round out your gifts—think bookmarks, pens, eye masks, tea, and more—and a festive bow plus writing supplies to personalize each “present” for the holiday season.

Guests should bring 3 books ready for wrapping or arrive 30 minutes early to select books from our shop before the event begins (all participants will get 10% off their book purchases). Join us on Friday, July 18 at 7:30p for an evening with bestselling horror author Marcus Kliewer, in conversation with local author Caitlin Moss.

Marcus Kliewer is the author of the breakout horror sensation We Used to Live Here, the viral debut that began as a Reddit phenomenon before being acquired for publication. Kliewer will discuss his breakout journey from viral internet phenomenon to bestselling author, the inspirations behind his work, and his chilling new novel, The Caretaker.
